These aren’t your Pop’s BDUs. 5.11 Tactical’s Tactical Dress Uniforms (TDU™s) were designed to meet all of the MILSPEC requirements just like BDUs, but with the added tactical innovation that 5.11 brings to the table. What are those “tactical innovations?” Here’s a few for starters: a bi-swing shoulder, removable neoprene elbow & knee pads, 5.11’s hidden document pockets, self adjusting waist, large side pocket and Teflon® fabric treatment. 5.11 Tactical TDU Jumpsuit

The overwhelming positive response to our TDU™ shirt and pant led us to build our first jumpsuit. Like the shirt and pant, the TDU Jumpsuit has components not found on standard jumpsuits. Our jumpsuit shares the design features of our TDUs, including BBS™-compatible cargo pockets, hidden document pockets and even removable knee and elbow pads (a $26 value). Triple-stitching and bartacks are also used extensively throughout.

To further improve the suit, we spoke with corrections officers, animal handlers and special teams who wear jumpsuits. The jumpsuit features an adjustable waist with belt-keeper loops, and a two-way mandarin collar that can be worn up for added flash protection or down for uniform appearance.

The TDU jumpsuit is feature-packed and we’re sure you’ll find it’s the most comfortable and functionally innovative jumpsuit around. Available in 5.78-oz. poly-cotton twill.

5.11 Tactical FLASH Jumpsuit

Loaded with features like our TDU™ Jumpsuit, our FLASH Jumpsuit takes performance to another level and is built from fire-resistant FR-x3™ twill fabric. A mandarin collar and Velcro® closures at the wrist and ankle make this an ideal garment for high-risk teams and operators who need protection against flash.

Features include BBS™-compatible cargo pockets, hidden document pockets and removable elbow pads (a $13 value). Triple-stitching, bartacks, an adjustable waist, belt-keepers and double-layered seat, knees and elbows complete this garment. 5.7-oz., FR-x3 fire-resistant twill.

5.11 Tactical HRT Pant

The HRT pants’ cargo pockets feature a BBS™ loop panel and two internal pockets sized to hold a pair of AR mags or other essential gear. Knees and are covered with rugged abrasion and slip-resistant Armortex®, and kneepads (a $12.99 value) are included with purchase. The pants feature 5.11’s patented tactical strap and slash pockets, plus a welted wallet pocket. Finally, the crotch has a Kevlar® lining to protect your femoral artery and other valuable “assets.”.

The HRT shirt is comfortable, durable and easy to care for. A mandarin collar, plus hook-and-loop closures at the wrist.
